The Catholic Church in England and Wales has introduced a new initiative to give spiritual comfort and advice to those dying or suffering bereavement.
‘The Art of Dying Well’ is the title of the website introduced by The Catholic Church because, it says, it has an interest in helping those faced with the prospect of death and dying.
“We believe that death opens the way to new life. For us, in dying, we close our eyes for the last time here, in order to be able to really see for the first time there.”
The website hit the news by suggesting that if individuals posted a picture of their dead or dying relative during November, a group of nuns and monks at selected convents and monasteries would pray for them.
